HOW MANY TIMES have you thought “I could get used to this” while mid-vacation? Every time? Yeah, us too. If you currently have a case of the cubicle blues, you might want to consider a career break. What is a career break? A career break is simply dedicated time away from your job. Basically, it’s about shaking up your normal routine in a big way with your passport in hand.

To help you, we’re partnering with Meet, Plan, Go! this year to bring career break resources to you. On Tuesday, October 18, career breakers around the US and Canada will meet at 17 locations to learn about making a career break a reality.

Since the cost of the event is $15, check out where $15 can take you on the road (see full graphic below). At home that’s about 2% of your rent. On the road: that’s a bungalow room in Thailand. Or how about trading up three beers at home for 21 (yes, you can share) in Ecuador.

We hope to see you at one of the following locations next month:

Austin, Texas
Boston, Massachusetts
Chicago, Illinois
Denver, Colorado
Honolulu, Hawaii
Las Vegas, Nevada
Los Angeles, California
Minneapolis, Minnesota
New Orleans, Louisiana
New York, New York
Orlando, Florida
Portland, Oregon
San Francisco, California
Seattle, Washington
St. Louis, Missouri
Toronto, Ontario
Washington D.C.

Oooh, sounds great! I don’t work (just blogging) so it would be strictly travel for me…which I LOVE! GREAT idea and I hope it’s a terrific success!

This looks really great! Though I won’t be near Toronto to attend, the speakers look amazing so I now have a bunch of new travel websites to add to my reader. 😉
