During a recent housesitting job in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the homeowner told me about a 2-mile walking track over at the university golf course. I was babysitting a 1-year-old dog named Thea and she had energy to spare. I decided the 2-mile thing would be a welcome break from being dragged all over the neighborhood streets of Nob Hill at the end of a leash twice a day.

As part of the Lobo Trails network, the Gold Trail deserves a blog entry of its own. And I promise I’ll do that. But first I just couldn’t wait to share this cute sign that my grandson and I found posted around the perimeters of the track.

And Thea gave it her best camera angle. 😉
