AS SOON AS I SAW this sign at Euphoria Biergarten, a lovely restaurant in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, I knew I had to take a picture of it (see feature photo, right).

Knight on watch
It is a quirky place overall, with sort of a medieval vibe to it, and I am positive that the knight sitting next to the funky sign ensures that parking is done correctly—and crushes all other vehicles except choppers.

Love the knight photo – what a great way to advertise!
They have a few more knights spread around the garden, and a few inside as well. It’s a pretty charming place, giving off a very cool vibe.
I love this sign, especially because my girls and I find quirky signs everywhere we go. I have quite a few pictures. I have two favorites. One is from Canada. One was informing me and other guests at the aquarium in Vancouver NOT to drink the water from the toilets. Uh, who needed to be told that?
Another favorite was spotted in the Cotswolds in England. It was a road sign alerting people to elderly people crossing the street. The picture of the elderly included two hunched over people, one with a cane.
I admit that I’ve never seen a knight at a table at a restaurant before!
Glad you liked my article. And, oh, those sound lovely! I’d love to see those two signs you mentioned *laughing*
